From 2014-2017, fair winds and following seas. The US Navy helped me to not only develop my professional skills but it prepared me for reintegratig back into a digital and ever changing society.

In 2020, I graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus while living abroad in Japan. I graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies at the height of the pandemic. The best thing skill I learned was to stay resilient through every adversity.

Now, as I finish my final semesters at the University of South Carolina, I look towards what my training and time here has taught me. As Chapter President of the Student Veterans of America and Board Member of the Student Veterans of America, there is still so much to learn and more work to be done.
